FSWM Musician Application

Qualifications:

1. Committed disciple of Jesus Christ, seeking to know, love and serve people, and also committed to continual spiritual growth.
2. Passion and vision for developing a music ministry program.
3. Ability to lead, inspire and engage the congregation during the worship experience.
4. Music background by education or experience and teaching ability sufficient to coach and guide all the members of the music ministry to continually enhance their musical skills.
5. Familiarity with variety of music styles.
6. Ability to work well with others, must be teachable, and work with last-minute changes.
7. Experience and references desired
8. Satisfactory compliance with all FSWM conditions of employment as described in the Employee Handbook and the church’s hiring policies. Applicants may be subject to Criminal Background Check before formal hiring.

Starting salary range will depend on qualifications and experience.
This is a part-time position and does not include pension or health care benefits.

We value honest and authentic mutual communication so we will have an initial 90 day trial period upon being hired. This first 90 days will be a good space for discerning mutually if this ministry is a good fit for both the worship leader as well as for the church, which is standard practice for any employee at Faith Soldiers Word Ministries.
